Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These terms govern your use of zeolight.studio (our site and booking system) and review.zeolight.studio (our client video review tool) - together, "the Services" - provided by Zeolight LLC ("we," "us"). By booking a call, using the review tool, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you're an active client, the signed agreement for your project governs payment, deliverable ownership, and project scope - these terms cover using the Services themselves.

What we do

Zeolight creates cinematic, technically accurate animation for deep-tech startups - investor-ready visuals for pitch decks, demo days, and fundraising. The Services (this site and the review tool) support that work - scheduling intro calls, and reviewing/approving video deliverables for a project you've engaged us for.

Booking calls

Booking an intro call through /bookings reserves that time slot. You can reschedule or cancel anytime via the link in your confirmation email. We may cancel or reschedule a booking if needed (e.g. a conflict) and will notify you by email. Booking a call doesn't create a client engagement or any obligation on either side - that starts with a signed project agreement.

The review tool

Once engaged for a project, deliverables (video cuts, stills, and other files) are shared with you through review.zeolight.studio via a private link. You can comment on, annotate, and approve or request changes to deliverables there. Access to a project's link can be revoked or can expire; if you need continued access, contact us. Payment, ownership, and usage rights for the deliverables themselves are set out in your project agreement, not here.

Portfolio use

Unless your project agreement says otherwise, we may feature approved, final deliverables in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing (including this site and social media) once the project is complete. We won't share unapproved or in-progress work publicly. If you need your project kept confidential, tell us before we begin - we're happy to agree to that in writing.

Project cancellation

These terms cover using the Services (this site and the review tool), not project cancellation - what happens if a project agreement ends early, including any kill fee or payment for work already completed, is set out in your signed project agreement, not here.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide (contact details, feedback, approvals) and for keeping your review tool login credentials confidential - your account is what grants access to your project's files and comments, so don't share your login with anyone outside your organization.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: interfere with or disrupt the Services (including the booking system or review tool); probe, scan, or test the Services' security; upload malware or unlawful content; or use the Services for anything illegal or that infringes someone else's rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the review tool if you violate these terms (for example, sharing your project link publicly, attempting unauthorized access, or abusive conduct) or if your project agreement ends. You remain responsible for anything that happened before termination, and terminating access doesn't cancel any separate obligations under your project agreement.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Zeolight LLC harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these terms, misuse of the Services, or content you upload or submit through the Services.

Availability

We aim to keep the Services available, but they're provided "as is" without guaranteeing uninterrupted access - hosting outages, maintenance, or issues outside our control can happen. We're not liable for losses caused by Service unavailability.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. This cap doesn't apply to fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of confidentiality.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from the Services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of Utah County, Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect - the unenforceable part will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
